Wanted:
2-3 players in the North Dallas, TX area (Carrollton, Addison, Farmers Branch, etc.) though I will certainly accept mail from people further out, but the game's at my place so it's your drive.
Players should be:
I'm working on a homebrew setting that diverges, sharply in some regards, from regular D&D, so anyone uncomfortable with that would do well to look elsewhere. Our games are rarely full-on dungeon crawls, and tend to focus more on plot with a healthy dose of what my players call "combat for a purpose."
As a DM I'm very approachable and crave feedback of all sorts. If my players aren't having fun, neither am I, so it's in my best interest to ensure their good time. I do, however, insist on no drinking at the gaming table and that you show up sober. I also have a dog, so if you're allergic or just uncomfortable, this may not be the place for you.
If you think you might want to play with us, drop me a line at my e-mail address routingzach@yahoo.com to set up an interview. I hate to make this like a job application, but I want to be as sure as possible that I get the right players. Typically, I just meet up with someone with one or two of my players at an IHOP or somesuch and we discuss preferences and get a feel for one another. I don't think it's stressful.
