Depends on what you want, I suppose.
One thing a group of mine struggled greatly with was a coven of hags, definitely above normal challenge ratings... or not I suppose, I used Night hags with a little homebrew, but Green Hags are right at the level you could be looking for.
The issue is to play them best, they are an indirect foe, who harries the party with scrying and minions before the party can eventually track them down.
If you are looking for more of a straight fight, then you'll need something that can take everything they can dish out, so something like the barbarians or something with regen would be ideal. Trolls might work really well if you want something more monstrous.
The easiest trick though, make a twisted reflection of the party. Either by building something that is suited against their fighting style (High AC enemies against rogues with single attacks, resistance against people who use multiple hits to rack up damage, ect) or build some one who uses their own tactics against them.
