So I'm finishing up the Shackled city advnture path by paizo this was my first DM experance and it is going great however because of school i will need to not DM the next game we play. The next person who is wiling had has time to Dm wants a mega modua... We have trie to play ROTTEE before and are looking for soemthing different. Age of worms is not finished yet and we would like somthing that is finished

I have thought about giving him City of the spider queen but what else is out there

Any one have any ideas??

and we tried WLD and it is so borring and has no story and is nothing but a wonder threw a dungeon to smash stuff game

Hmmm. How adverse are you to a little 3.5 conversion? Vault of Larin Karr is a nice little campaign with outdoor and dungeon elements, and is based around legends and backstory.

(To be fair, WLD has some backstory woven through sections of it... but I know that I wouldn't have the patience to work through the whole thing, either.)

Take a look at Lost City of Barakus from Necromancer Games. It takes you from 1st to 6th and there are a couple of great modules you can use directly after this. Several folks have put these campaigns together - check out Necro's boards for more details. I kicked off my latest campaign with Lost City and recommend it highly!

Right now you can go to Troll Lords and buy Lost City and get Vindication or Fane of the Witch King for FREE.

I don't work for them - I just think it's a great deal.

Psion: are they 3.0 to 3.5? concersons? that would be cool if they are anything else it would take lots of time at least for me... but outdoor stuff would be a nice change shackledcity has lots of dungeon cralling... and i was a player for WLD and i did not notice much for a story i'm sure there was one.

Are you sure your DM read anything but one section? It has a really cool story for any "normal" DM to flesh out and make his own. Sorry, your DM gave such a half-assed effort. WLD is great for DM's who like to put chrome on an already solid foundation.

I will also say that Lost City is worth every penny. Caverns of Thracia is also cool. Ptolus is coming out next year, too bad. The Age of Worms has a good start....

i never read much of WLD i just played part of it and was just Meh... i'm sure some quick DMs could do some cools stuff with it...

as far as age of worms i would like to run it when it all is finished...they have done such a good job with it and have a better start that shackled city (witch i enjoyed a lot) they learned so much from that adventure that this one will go down in history

we are looking closly at lost city now that it has been posted and we may go for that
