Need another feat for my wizard!

Storminator

First Post
I'm playing in a one-shot this weekend, and I'm building a wizard.

Sun Elf in Faerun, Transmuter 7/ Arcane Devotee 5 of Corellon

He's a metamagic machine, as I needn't think of long term viability, just short term fun

So far I've picked up
Enlarge Spell
Extend Spell
Empower Spell
Lace Spell [Holy] for BoEM
Discipline

I'll also be picking up a Lesser Empowerment Rod from T&B. Any other fun ideas?

I noticed making this guy that Lace Spell and Arcane Devotee match up VERY well. Near as I can tell Lace Spell makes all of my spells Good, and the Alignment Focus of the Devotee bumps my caster level for Good spells by one level.

Sticking with BoEM 1, both Lace Spell (elemental Energies) and (Lawful/Choatic) are okay.

For a more flavorful approach, try dreamspeaking or mirrorsite. Dreamspeaking, in particular, is awesome with a DM who'se into the idea.

The DM (my son) is relatively inexperienced, so I don't want to throw anything too tricky (like Dreamspeaking) at him. I was originally going to go Illusionist, but decided I didn't need to tax his brain like that. :)

PS

There's always Admixture to realy ramp up the firepower. Just imagine the destructive potential of a Maximized(via rod) Admixed; Enlarged Fireball (with Acid) against a Troll army.

Hatchling Dragon

Okay, cool. Pulling back a little from the wierdness:

Energy Substitution and Energy Admixture - alround useful metamagic feats from Tome and Blood. Although they're pretty much optimised for Evocation casters, they do give you a fair amount of options with a limited casting range of attack spells.

School focus: Transmutation is something of a must, isn't it?

Quickened spell: You're about the level when this really kicks in as useful.

Sculpt Spell: Generally usefull to have around.

Chain spell: If you're focusing on the various buffing spells from the transmuter school, this is kinda useful.

Eschew Materials: Cause if it's short term, you don't want to be messing around with components and it gives you a convinent excuse to forget them.
