Need help finding a prestige class

Perhaps you should check out the Wheel of time system. The classes there grant an inherent AC progression ala BAB in the core rules.

Got the book, but the group is sticking with D&D. They don't want to incorporate any outside system. It might be a stretch for me to get my DM to use Arcana Unearthed.

And I'm away from my Tome and Blood, but don't Alienist and Acolyte of the Skin get Natural Armor bonuses?

I don't remember. Do you know of any that get a dodge bonus or something like it? Something that stacks with everything else?

I know that sounded funny.

I just mean a prestige class that gets that sort of AC bonus. The DM wants the characters to be in or working towards a prestige class.

The game has gotten very combat heavy, and I just want a fighter type that isn't going to get hit so often.

Look into Miss Chances as well as AC.

If you can arrange for Blur, or Blink, or Displacement effects, they make quite a difference to how often you get hit.

Yeah, I thought a little bit about that, but that takes magic for a non-magic wielding character. I know I am now putting a lot of restrictions on this.

Also, not to say anything bad about my DM, but everytime I have gone with a miss chance and the DM rolls it, I usually end up getting hit anyway. Not matter how high the miss chance, I will get hit. I just wanted to get something to a really high AC so if I get hit a lot, the DM either has to let us know that he is rolling a lot of 20's, or he will show that they have a high BAB by hitting everyone else even more.
