one of the advantages (i guess?) of working in IT is that i get a lot of extra boxes and packing styrofoam whenever we get a shipment of equipment in. well i was unpacking various items, and i looked over at the pile of boxes and trash and saw a couple of items that i could potentially use for DnD!

check it:

on the second picture, i'm thinking bridge. ive got one of those styrofoam wire cutter things that i could use to shave this down a bit to make it look ruined or whatever. the question is though, what kind of paint would i be able to use that wouldnt mess up the foam?

for the pink egg crate stuff, i am going to be having a giant hole in the ground, with a spiderweb type wall going down into the ground....maybe craft the egg crate stuff into a spidery kinda wall thing?

and then the last piece...eh...dunno. i mean, i could take bits and pieces of the foam and do something with it, but i was just wondering if you guys had some good ideas as to how i could use the large pieces for something??

That foam works ok for terrain. Water based paints work great, but the best paint for that product is the H2O spraypaint you can buy. It is water based spray paint. Otherwise you'll spend forever painting that particular kind of foam.

send me a PM if you have specific questions, I've made a lot of terrain out of foam.

Off topic I guess, but I just thought of the "large" bubble wrap. They arE about an inch wide. I'll need to incorporate some in to an upcoming encounter as some sort of jelly or air elemental.
