Need response fast: Books to get for christmas

I'd suggest the path books by FFG (path of magic and path of the sword) and, if you ever DM, the Monster's handbook from FFG.

(Actually what I'd realy suggest is Guns Germs and Steel, (a book I read last spring) but it has absolutly nothing to do with d20. Man, was that ever a great book.)

I'm buying the Monster Manual 2 and Epic Level Handbook, myself. I usually DM. If you don't have Deities and Demigods and Manual of the Planes, buy them also. I highly recommend the latter two, and I've heard nothing but great things about the former two.

Well, not everyone was happy with MM2. The ELH was pretty good if you see your characters going up that high.

I like new skills, feats, and ways of doing things. not a big prc man. And I'd like softback or hardback, unless its a really good pdf.

Actually, Oriental Adventures could fill this bill pretty well. It's got new skills and feats, new types of magic, new core classes, races, and more. It's plenty of usable stuff whether you're running an oriental campaign or not.
