Need some help related to players

Another place to take a look is at Yahoo Groups. Do a search in the gaming section for your state and rpg, or D&D, or any other gaming term and see if you get any hits. A friend of mine started a D&D Yahoo Group for Charlottesville, VA and with almost no prompting it grew to about 50 people just from local people doing searches.

Id love to game with you, during summers and breaks Im in Orrville, OH. So thats not that big of a trip. Im in Dayton otherwise, which is lackluster in the gaming department as far as Ive seen.

Seems that by posting this thread you may have inadvertantly (or maybe this was a cunning way on your part to find someone!!) found at least 1 local (ish) if not more potential gamers in your area. Good job!!

I find the Players seeking Players forum in this sight difficult to find anything quickly. A lot of people don't put where they are from in their Title, and it would help immensely if people put State and then City very first in their listing.

I ran across http://dnd.meetup.com/ while searching for a gaming group in my area. Within 2 weeks of joining there, we had 9 people in one game, and at least 2 other games of 5+ people going on.

Doing a quick check on the zip for Medina, OH, I came up with a group of 37 in Akron, 48 in Cleveland, and 9 in Canton.

Give it a check out.

Yeah, me too...on the location listing on the title of the thread. Seems kind of self-explanatory for people to put it there, but I guess many have decided against it.

I tried meetup, and I may use that. I don't really need a bunch of players, just one or two. Thanks for the links everyone.
