Nekokaburi vs Kitsune Haru (Ariel Eastwind Judging)

Nekokaburi counters the barrage of punches using the Opposing Wind Form, moving to harshly slap each fist away before it can strike. The air between the two warriors is a blur of fists!

Nekokaburi attempts to free himself with a strike to Kitsune Haru's arm, followed by a pair of powerful swinging punches to Haru's head.

Fist of Fury!

Once Nekokaburi pushes free, Haru attempts to blunt his counterstrike with a cross-arm block, then essays a sweeping kick at waist height.

The foot slashes near the atoll; parts the push of the pole!

"Although the foot is good at slashing this round...... the mace bashing is doing what it's supposed to do!"

(OoC: Whoops! I forgot this was a strategy match and generated a move as if it were a standard match. Bad Ciaran. Fortunately, since I lost the round I hope this will not be an issue.)

OOC: I can say from experience ciaran that it's really easy to do that... but do be carefull I ended up having a character die because of that.... I guess I'd be the last to tell you not to do it but I did learn a lesson from it! :D

Yowch. BTW, Ciaran - I believe you're up to bat, with neither of us having Chi Strike... unless I've missed something

A bruised and sweating Haru presses forward with a sudden burst of energy. His fists flash through the 'Trident Strikes the Ricefield' kata, an unusual maneuver which culminates in simultaneous strikes at the face with the left hand, at the belly with the right elbow, and at the instep with the left heel.

The trident strikes the ricefield; dominates the speed of the shell!

With Haru committed to attacking, Nekokaburi moves swiftly not to defend, but to come crashing through a break in his opponent's defenses with a shoulder-barge followed by a plummeting Eagle's Claw fist.
