I'm really curious how Adventurer's League is going to handle Radiant Citadel.

It's still weirdly bugging me that I don't know how to categorize Radiant Citadel, is it it's own setting, like Forgotten Realms, Eberron, Dragonlance, Ravenloft etc..., or a group of settings or apart of the Forgotten Realms.

The book is full of Gazeteers for 15 surviving founder cultures and the city itself according to this article, New D&D Sourcebook Introduces All-New Settings - IGN

But how does that leave room for Adventures?

Why do you need to categorise everything? The Radiant Citadel is a location. Detailing locations is a key part of adventures.

But how does that leave room for Adventures?

It introduces settings, it doesn't describe them in detail beyond the adventure sites. They for the DM to expand upon if they want to make more use of them.
