When I heard about the premise, I had to wonder if there was a lawsuit in there, somewhere

It does sound interesting. Hopefully Will Smith will play the character, instead of being Will Smith in a suit. I like the guy, but you can get too much of anything. Noomi Rapace is also excellent, when she's not running from cartwheeling Engineer starships. Potential for goodness is high

Hmm, the premise reminds me a bit of 'Lost Girl'. But, Will Smith? I've grown wary of his movies.
