I have a friend who just got a cable modem (his brother also has iChat AV, so we include him in our weekly online gatherings). We chatted using iChat AV for a it, which was great. I'd like to try Apple Remote Desktop soon, but our schedules never seem to mesh. While 10.3 has the ARD client built right in, he will not be upgrading soon due to budget restraints (and his brother won't budge from 10.2 until DigiDesign has support for the digi 001 and ProTools LE under 10.3).
Can anyone recommend an internet-based game which does not require subscribing to a game server? Ideally, I'd like to link 2-3 Macs running OS X together via TCP/IP. Another consideration would be the type of game; no "gun games", as none of use like shoot-em-ups.
