Neutral Dragons without psionics

First Post
I'm creating a non-psionics campaign world, but I wanted the neutral dragons.
The problem is that the psionic dragons, as described in the PsiHB web enhancement, use psionics (and they did so even in the old 2nd ed AD&D).

I am wondering if someone has made some house variant of these dragon using normal magic instead of psionics.

My idea is to replace all the psionic powers with equivalent (or at least similar) spells, change the "manifester level" to a normal "caster level" like for other dragons.
The problem are the psionics attacks/defenses: I never used psionics and don't know how they work (and the SRD is not that clear) and I don't know what to do: I have a few options:
1) simply ignore them. this would probably make them weaker, but I don't know how much
2) remove them but add some other spell-like abilities similar to those that kind of dragon already has
3) make some supernatural or spell-like abilites that mimic the attacks/defenses. This seems to me the worst option, because I'll have that only these dragons have pseudo-psionic attacks/defenses and would probably unbalance the game.

Any suggesions ?

Do you have the Dragon with the wurm dragons. They very but you can make them any alignment you whant plus most are alredy neutral.

agreed, you can completely ignore the psionic combat if you wish.

if you want to try something a little less powered or different, you could give them a single school of magic or single domain ...
