For about 6 months I've used the NWN toolset to generate battlefields for the players. Using an Infocus 1600 Projector I throw the image down onto our battle mat. I can also rotate the map to give the players a 1st person perspective view of the action.
If you are remotely familiar with NWN Aurora toolset you'll immeditely begin to spot differences, especially in the terrain map. Bodies of water can be freeformed - they no longer must come together at ugly and unrelealistic right angles. NWN 2 also has the ability to change the lighting of the set for the time of day - which is very, VERY cool. The reason this is here instead of computer forum is that these projections are meant for minis play - I'm not building these sets with an eye towards constructing a playable module - I don't have the time.
