Umbran: Who is discussing Piracy?

Directly? Nobody, yet. But is not an ounce of prevention worth a pound of cure? Or perhaps you'd prefer some new poster unaware of the policy came in and got the thread closed?

Plus those of us with a black case but white drives don't wanna open up the black front cover unless we have too. People might see the mis-matched drives and think us un-l337 :D

*LOL*

That's why I chose a white casing, because a black one might look cooler, but the white drives really don't mix well.

BTW, I don't think the game (with a full install) actually uses the CD for anything but checking before starting the game, so performance should be the same.

I'll post it. I believe its for a legitimate reason. I do this myself a lot, simply because its a PITA to swap CDs when you change applications.

The site makes you click agreements that none of the information is used for piracy. They are for people that want to remove the protections either for performance or convienence reasons, or to make a backup of a disc.

However - NWN does CD key checking when you log into game spy, and the crack may hose that. I don't know, haven't tried it. I believe is also checks for any other games to make sure that more than one key can't be in the same game. SO tinker at your own risk, and keep a copy of that nwmain.exe as previously mentioned.

And if you are trying to pirate it, screw off. I paid my $60, you can too.
