D&D 4E New 4e Character Sheet

Okay I think it's ready for you Gilwen.

I added the page 2 that's specific to my Eberron Campaign. If it's possible could you copy and paste the "Crowsion" page 2 version into that one. The difference is minor; I track EXP for my characters so I replaced the "Experience" block with a "Minor Quest Objectives" block instead.

Those of you that use fillable sheets do you use them them actively during the game on a computer or do you print them out and still manually mark on them? Just wondering if I should spend the time making all the check mark boxes and all of the areas for notes fillable.

Gil

I think we will get both types of people. Some who will have it on a laptop and we will still have some who will print it off, so best to do them anyway.

I'm almost finished laying out page 1 from the link in the first post. I'll see if I can post it today or tomorrow depending on how final touches go.

Page 1 forms added...

Here is a form fillable and saveable form for page 1. I'm working on a auto calculating version as well. I'm hoping tonight or tomorrow morning to get page 2 up. Let me know if you find any problems.

UPDATE (1/1/11 1900CST): updated sheet with check fixes and reduced font in header and health stats

UPDATE (1/2/11 2224CST): updated 1/2 level font size on defenses. Added outline to skill boxes with checkmark. Added lines to the feat area

Hey man, I found that a lot of the check boxes have the same root. So when you check one others check too. This is prabably due to Copy-Pasting. Plus the text in some places is too large to work with, like the in the header and on the left for all the blocks under health statistics.

well crap thought I had caught all of those; i've recreated the problem on the action points and milestones, the other ones don't seem to be doing it. Which other check boxes specifically and which text boxes; just the ones you mentioned or in other places too? I've also just found a problem with the skill text boxes.

The health stats text boxes all fit on my screen. What are you seeing? For the current health box did you envision that being a running total showing all damage taken? I use it as a single value box and that's why I made it a bit larger font for the larger area.

ok list of check box errors:
action points milestones
second wind
daily items uses per day
death saving throw failures

any others?

I'll get those corrected tonight.

The 1/2 level fillable box in the "Defenses" heading is maligned and I don't like how some of the lines are gone (notably the "Feat" block) and the border to the fillable boxes in the "Skills" block are gone. If someone wanted to print it out they won't be able to use it with those blanks.

I removed the lines from the feat box to give more flexibility to the people typing their sheets; people printing for handwriting should also gain from the additional space. That area is also a Rich Text Box to allow for some formatting. I took the boxes from the skill area because they caused a crowding issue with just about any font size I used and the numbers would overlap the box outline you had on there originally. I'll see if there is a way to make an outline show up for printouts.

I fixed the font issue on the 1/2 level in defenses. added lines back in. If anyone prefers no lines i can post that one too. fixed the outline on the skill area boxes with checkmark. For some reason the last four skill boxes have the checkboxes behind the value box. There doesn't seem to be a "bring forward" function that I can use to correct that. Does anyone know how I can correct this short of deleting and attempting to recreate or moving them right? Updated sheet is on my original sheet post:
