New Acquisitions Inc. Podcast

I love these. They are a marketing coup.

Note that the warning about being an explicit podcast is demonstrated right away in the first one.

It took them awhile to start doing that. There wasn't an explicit tag in iTunes either at first. It was a bit irritating for those of use with kids, though you're only going to get burned on it once ;)

Two observations:

Is "Al" an elf now? I seem to see them bouncing around that a bit and I noticed that the comic has his eyes elf-like.

I also think that "Mike" Gabe is a pretty huge testament to how much easier 4E is to DM than previous editions. In the short year it's been since he threw his first polyhedral in the first podcast, he's created a falling encounter that I've seen talked about and requested on multiple message boards. Someone with no experience went to creating a coveted encounter in a short period of time... and if you take a look at the twitter accounts of him and his group, you can definitely tell he's done a top notch job of working with the game to create some great encounters.

I think it'd be cool to see a delve type encounter published by Mike in Dungeon.

I also think it'd be pretty incredible to see Jerry (Tycho) publish an extremely RP-heavy little combat adventure for Dungeon. Seeing how well he writes for this last decade really makes me want to see how he'd approach that...

He was an eladrin in the last round of podcasts. Think he still is since Wil made a reference to elves as "his hick cousins" or some such.

I believe Aeofel has always been an eladrin, but the other PCs think of him as an elf, much to Al's chagrin. In the latest podcast, he does refer to elves as his hillbilly brethren or somesuch.
