ELVEN CHAINMAIL OF AERDRIE FAENYA
These armors were typically granted to outsiders who have done the priests of Aerdrie Faenya some great service. Though, they cannot grant the wearer the ability to fly, they are nonetheless valuable to mercenaries and other wanderers in hostile lands.

This particular set of chainmail is incredibly well-crafted, even for elvish chain. It feels light and supple to the touch and can be worn under the clothing without betraying it's presence. This mail has been enchanted so that it weighs 1 pound. Caster level 2. Prerequisites: Craft magic arms/armor, feather fall. Market price: 8,000gp

Does it count as Light armor and get the usual benefits of Mithral Chainmail?

yup. the only thing different about it and normal chainmail is that it weighs one pound. that's why i priced it as twice as much as normal elvish chain. I mean, what fighter wouldn't want chainmail that only weighs one pound with all of the bonus's of elvish chain to boot? I figured feather fall would be a good spell to lighten things a bit. It was the only thing i could find that came close to what i wanted.

I have a 'weightless' property imc for magic armors... I believe it's +1 equivalent (3.0- in 3.5 I'd prolly revise that to a set gp cost).

it's not quite weightless, just near. ^_^ the elves save the weightless stuff for big-badda-booms.
