A new background, The Lunatic, has been added to EN World's 5E Backgrounds Database.
This is a character background I based around some of my brother's more 'interesting' PCs as well as a few movies, books, etc.
It was initially designed for a comedy background for those people who like that kind of game but I found it was quite easily adapted to work both ways.
I've also tried to work the personality tables to interlink easily in such a way that some traits bonds can make very specific characters when used in tandem but can be used independently, as you see in some of the 5e backgrounds. (eg, Criminal Personality Trait 1; "I always have a plan for what to do when things go wrong" and Flaw 3; "If there
