The Warlord came to half occupy the role of the bard, as did the Dragon Shaman, a core class in PH2 - IMMHHO.

So, bard, where are you now...?
Will I ever replay my 1E bard that went from fighter 5 to rogue (called thief at the time) 5 to finally bard with druidic spells, that came to have arcane powers in 2E, was face-lifted in 3E, and really fell on 3.5?

I have always wanted to make a bard with a solid metal lute that uses it as a club.
