New Base Classes from WoTC?

Was looking at my RPGA's Legacy of the Green Regent website for character records when I noticed some classes that I haven't seen before:

- Warlock (from Ingenious Path)
- Scout (from Incentive Adventurer)
- Spellthief (from Incentive Adventurer)

They're probably from the upcoming Complete Arcane book and the 'other' book after that.

The Spellthief sounds interesting. Anyone know anything about these new classes?

I'd imagine so. Warlock sounds kinda interesting, as does spell thief, but what do the Ingenious Path and Incentive Adventurer mean? I know nothing about the Green Regent stuff?

This post is probably more suited to General as well, you'd get mroe answers there.

Edit: Whoops, welcome to the boards, and happy posting!

Just a nitpick -- these new classes are not "core". Core means that something comes from the core rules (the system reference documents, all part of the open gaming license). I believe the word you are looking for is "base".

Sorry, I don't having any interesting knowledge on any of them.

A tidbit

If you go here you'll see that the Hexblade seems to have been previously named the Warlock, but this was changed before it went to print for whatever reason. Either they wanted to reserve the name for another class they had in the works for a future book, or they changed it for some other reason and there is no other forthcoming Warlock class. Make of this what you will...

Those are names for "cards" you get in the mail to play 'non-core' classes in RPGA's 'living' Green Regent campaign.

Last two times (just before the Miniatures Handbook and Complete Warrior books were released) RPGA released cards which provide access to those books' contents. I guess this is RPGA doing the same with the Complete Arcane.

Maybe, although it seems a bit wierd that Scout is a new base class in complete arcane.

Could these be PrCs? Some of them at least?

That's probably from the upcoming Complete Expert, or whatever it's called, the book for skil-users: rangers, rogues, etc.
