Shaper of Worlds
While I despise the DailyMail for various reasons... they got the scoop.

Do you think that face visor is just a facemask and not intended because of some form of cg they need to add?
No that's ridiculous!
Sorry typing my thoughts out.

Massive corrective monolens so he can look down at a book and read without his character wearing glasses in close ups, obviously.

Oh. You meant for Michelle. Probably to hide her face. She might be wearing prosthetics as, like, a gnome or something.

You too can own a mirrored face shield for just $16!

Whether it is something for the costuming or not, who knows, but it does appear to be a style thing. I think I'll stick to my regular aviator sunglasses.
So its just one big sunglass? All I picture is someone driving in front her on a sunny day, looking their rearview mirror and being blinded by the reflection from these things. Que the 5 car pile up.

On the topic of 'one big sunglass', if I recall right, the drow of the Valley of the Mage in Greyhawk wore glasssteel masks to avoid daylight penalties - I always pictured them like the crew of the Cygnus in The Black Hole - but... that would be interesting I think. :)

It looks fine. Glad they kept the costumes some what down to earth. Nothing too outlandish.
I think they might have actually gone too far.

This looks like, just... late middle ages... rather than Faerun. Maybe it'll look different on screen, with colour correction/grading and so on.

I need one of these insane futuristic sunglass things, but I know it will look too small on my amusingly-large ogre-head.

As a tokusatsu fan I will say, don't judge a costume until you see it in action.

And I, also, suffer the Curse of the Big Head.

Or it could just be Michelle Rodriguez being Michelle Rodriguez.
