.....again? I mean the last reboot didn't go off the air til 2009.

And Bryan Singer was attached to the movie project prior to the Sci Fi channel series actually, I think the article is getting that backwards for whatever that's worth, which isn't likely much.

I know that Glen Larson has wanted to bring his version to the big screen. I would not mind that it is a great story and I liked the mythology of the original more than the reboot. Take away the trappings of the 70s way if doing SF TV and it really is good space opera.

I just hope they stay away from the reboot which was more a drama with SF trappings and while an excellent story in the first two seasons I don't think they need to revisit it that soon.

It probably will be a trilogy, I can't see just one movie doing justice to the story of a the last humans wandering in space.

Well, apparently they are going to "Completely Reimagine" it. So maybe instead of Cylons there will be Orks.

And that's just the first of MANY changes in this "Completely Reimagined" Battlestar Galactica.

Maybe it won't even take place in space...

Does seem a bit quick but you have to remember that movies are more and more meant for overseas markets. The tv show got shown on a couple of specialty channels here in Japan but largely ignored.

A big tent movie though has a
Much better chance of doing well.
