There's a new beta version of the next version of Hexographer. (It is still a "minor" update, but there are a few big new features and a few big changes behind the scenes.)

Here's what's new:
-A native print function. It prompts you to resize your map based on how many hexes per inch you want and how many pixels per inch (or dots per inch--dpi) you want. This makes it easier to print the map as 1" hexes or 1/4" hexes, etc. And if your paper isn't large enough, it will split the map into multiple pages as needed.
-The old "export as a png image" option still exists, but now there is a new "resize and export as a png image" option that works like the print option above.
-There are another pair of options like the print and new export options above that let you select a rectangular portion of the map and print or export that section.
-A bunch of new terrain types like: fungal forest, fungal heavy forest, broken lands, underdark broken lands, etc.
-Even more new symbols such as: palace, underwater battlefield, whirlpool, waystation, catapult, various railroad tracks and many more.
-Features can be rotated. So a railroad track icon the runs north-south on your map could be rotated by 60 degrees to run northwest x southeast.
-When you select a feature and then move your mouse over the map, that feature's image appears attached to your mouse pointer so you can see what you have selected. This image is rotated and resized to accurately match what you'll be placing on the map wherever you click.

Go to Hexographer Hex Map Software: Home then click on the "free version" then look for the link to the beta version just under where the normal version of Hexographer starts. (I'll make this easier when I have a minute.)
