New book: Worlds and Monsters - any ideas?

According to this post by Curt of Games Plus, WotC is bringing out a book next year titled Wizards Presents: Worlds and Monsters "that gives a behind-the-curtain glimpse into the making of D&D". I find this intriguing. I wonder if it'll examine D&D's game mechanics from OD&D onwards or just the most recent developments. Perhaps it'll be an overview of the D&D worlds, namely, Greyhawk, FR, Eberroneous etc (I hope not).

What do you think this book will be about? Any thoughts?

I think this book is going to offer sneak previews of changes we'll see in 4th edition for the new monsters and worlds of D&D. I think it will be designed for players who aren't online much, somehow heard a 4th edition is coming out (perhaps from reading this book at the bookstore) and have no magazine to read sneak previews.

Here is a more complete description from the catalog

This lavishly illustrated 96-page book gives roleplaying game fans a unique, behind-the-curtain glimpse into the making of the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game. The book contains essays and asides from the game's premier designers, developers, and editors. Through words and illutrations, it explores some of the D&D game's most iconic locations and monsters, sharing insights never before revealed in any previous game product.

Jenifer Clarke Wilkes works as an game editor at Wizards of the Coast, Inc. She has also co-written a number of roleplaying game supplements, including the Faiths of Eberron and Sandstorm supplements.
