Convention Created Content (CCC) for the Adventurers League is a fantastic way to be a part of the living campaign in Faerun. Connect with a local convention and see if they are running AL and if so would they like to host CCC content and if you can write one or more. Then contact the AL to get the go ahead with a proposal, at least nine months out from your event. Finally follow the CCC guidelines while writing a cool adventure.
That's what we did for PretzCon here in Omaha, and Adam Gordier wrote a trilogy of CCC's that are interesting and different and a ton of fun.
I had the honor of running them along with several other DM's and the energy in the room was contagious. They are now on the DM's guilde for everyone else, AL groups or non AL groups alike.
I hope you like them, I sure did.
