New Character builder question

I remember the old character builder could be set up to include inherent bonuses for campaigns that decided to use that rules option. Can you do that on the new one? I've looked but i did not see it. I hope I'm just missing it.

No, the character builder has no real house rule ability yet. And inherent bonuses are still considered optional rules. I'm sure they are aware that people want this feature and will put it in. I expect the next chance for that would be February 17th.

I know the guidelines for that options inherent bonuses was listed in the DMG2, can it be found in the compendium online? I dont hvae DMG2 and was hoping to find the rule there.

Cumulative +1 to attack and damage at levels 2, 7, 12, 17, 22, 27.

Cumulative +1 to defenses at levels 4, 9, 14, 19, 24, 29.

The Dark Sun module in the new CB does include inherent bonuses, I believe. They just haven't added a button to turn it on elsewhere.

I just quickly went through and made a DS character in the builder and I didn't see an inherent bonus option.

I just created a dark sun character and leveled em up. Im not seeing inherent bonus.

A quick work-around I have seen work for other people (never tied it myself) is to create a blank DS character in the old character builder, and then import it into the online character builer.
