Sorry if this is the wrong place to post but i am about to play D&D for the 1st time. Its d&d 3e playing in Farun i want to make a Wizard/ranger looking for advice on race and buying stats that would be good , I belive its a 30point buy system please let me know thanks

This should go in the Rogue's Gallery I think?

First of all, if you're playing it for the 1st time, make it a little easier on yourself and go either Wizard or Ranger. Grasping the game is hard enough as it is, without jumping into 2 classes at the same time.

I agree with Thels on taking a single class character.

Also, have a look around the Rogues Gallery Forum for some ideas on what other people have done. It can really help you work out alot of the details as well.
