New Core Classes? Really?

That's just Basic, not a Basic Class. I used to have that box... :p

Now, as to my earlier error, I bravely take the blame and pass it on to the original poster.

I much prefer Visual Basic classes myself.

I won't touch VB classes, or VB itself, with a 10 foot pole. I feel icky just -looking- at JAVA classes.

To C++, I devote my love.

Ewww! Don't put Basic programs -- or worse, Visual Basic ickyness -- on the same level as Basic D&D!

Get thee to .NET land, heathen.

(Hi, I'm Dave, and I'm a VB.NET junkie :).)

Just to clarify, Diaglo is here referring to the little-known third axis of the alignment system: evil-good, chaos-law, and elf-dwarf. An elf-aligned character is likely to spend all their time with a goofy grin on their face, singing songs, and dancing around the campfire. A dwarf-aligned character is likely to spend all their time staring sourly into their ale, scowling at people, and being dour and mournful. Elf-aligned people tend not to get on with dwarf-aligned people, and vice-versa.

The elf-dwarf alignment axis is also sometimes referred to as the happy-grumpy alignment axis, but this is deprecated because of possible confusion with the names of two particular dwarves.

Hong "bans elves AND dwarves in his campaign" Ooi

Someone should make little dolls of hong that say funny things when you pull his string. I'd buy several.

edit- changed "pull a string" to "pull HIS string" hong would appreciete it more.

*gasp* A post on topic!

My take on the base classes from Miniatures Handbook and Complete Warrior is that they'll be treated like the OA classes, i.e. ignored in the future. But in the back of my mind, I can almost imagine them being treated like the classes from the Psionics Handbook- I wouldn't be terribly surprised if there were an article or two about them on the WoTC website.
