A short while ago, I put out a thread on EN World asking if there were any other creature types out there that people had thought of. And while there were plenty of ideas for changing the system as it was designed (which appears natural for us creative types), there did appear to be some ideas for entirely new creature types. So let's have 'em.
Emerald Press is looking to create a new series of PDFs involving new and unique creature types for any d20 system -- Fantasy, Modern, Future, and whatever else they happen to create. Needless to say, we'd also be looking for new monsters to go with them too and possibly some recommended changes to older creatures that may have been originally included in other creature types. Each new creature type submitted is expected to be unique within the established system, rather than an enhanced form of undead or outsider, and we will not accept new creature SUBtypes on their own (but we will accept them as part of a new creature TYPE).
All submissions should be sent to warden@emeraldpress.net -- they should no longer than a page (as an email or downloaded file) and does not require any techinical bits. If you have any futher questions, you can also sent them to the same address. There is no deadline for these submissions, so send them over as soon as you have them.
