Second the random number generator thing. I had no successful encounters in Cutthroats of Crawling Bog and my ranger died after the 3rd one because I couldn't roll over a 12.

At last I rolled an 11 (previous rolls a 7, +4 vs DC 14, and 4 +15 vs DC 25), shame it was for a Wisdom Check DC 12 and I have no Wisdom bonus. So still not passed a single check.
Better mechanic: Energy points or whatnot which regenerate over time but let you do multiple moves one after the other before having to wait. One move every x minutes is pretty uncool. Apart from that it's looking good so far.
