Hidden Path Entertainment is in development on a AAA, third-person, open-world fantasy game in the Dungeons & Dragons franchise. The developer made the announcement on March 2, via Twitter, in a tweet that stated the studio is hiring for the project. Hidden Path Entertainment is the developer behind Raccoon Lagoon, Defense Grid 2, and VR titles Witchblood and Brass Tactics. Not much is known about the project at this time — aside from a notable figure on the development team itself.

What is wrong with an MMO? To clarify, I don't really play video games, but I do generally know what an MMO is. It seems like a D&D version could be fun.

I know that, but @Gradine said: "Dear god, I hope not," in response to the suggestion it could be an MMO. I don't care what the game is (I don't play video games), I was curious about his/her aversion to MMOs. TBH, I shouldn't have posted it - I don't really care that much. In fact, I'm going to go delete it.
