I hope they use the box pictured. Note though that the specific art and even the style are for a limited run. I think a BIG limited run, but I remember reading that the intent was to change the art eventually to match the rest of the essentials line, I think.
 

If it sold in that art style, I'll buy it, though honestly I'd be buying it for the box alone. If they change the art, I can't say that much of anything in the essentials line really appeals to me.

Yeah me too!. This art brings me back to my very first D&D product. I love this picture so much I ordered some lithographs (IIRC) of this set, the Expert Set and the Companion Set from Larry Elmore's website. They are framed, and on the wall leading down into the basement! Nothing, and I mean nothing, says D&D to me moreso than this single piece of artwork!

I've got the same artwork hanging in my gaming room. Found an old puzzle of that print for ~20 bucks on ebay. Of course what I really want is the pinball machine, which also has the art.
