Red Spire Press
First Post
New D20 publisher, Red Spire Press, is looking for an artist for work on an upcoming sourcebook to be released in Q1-Q2 2003.
Potential artists will fulfill the following criteria:
All work will become the property of Red Spire Press, with all appropriate credit given to the artist on publication. Details of payment will be given during negotiations with top contenders.
Now that the official stuff is out of the way, lets take a deep breath and relax.
We're looking for an artist that enjoys their work, has a good deal of experience drawing character portraits and creatures, and can both accept artistic direction (there are some very specific needs) but also work with loose concepts to create their own material. Target medium is black & white print.
As a new publisher, we're not rich but will be paying the artist fairly for their work as well as giving them an in-road into the d20 market.
Three batches of work will be required: character portraits; creatures; and a third mishmash batch that will include geographical drawings, architecture, events, items and equipment.
There's a lot to do! If you think you have the stuff and are looking to make a name for yourself, drop us an email with some sample work. Artists up for consideration will be asked to submit a new piece of work based on some specific criteria. We'll go from there.

cheers!
