Ther problem with this post is that, as another poster already said, it's very poor form to attribute an article to someone else without an obvious reference that it is a fake article.

It's my opinon that this thread should be deleted, not just closed.

AGREED!

This.

Shouldn't it be called GEEK RAGE?
I think nerds are spending their time studying, working and getting rich, like selling Yahoo for 44 billion dollars for example.

It was sorta funny, and had a point. I mean, I for one invest what is probably a psychologically questionable amount of time in my favorite hobby and even I see the nerd rage and shake my head. Of course, there's a bit of that on both ends of the specturm.

I thought this was super hilarious.

Then again, I find looking at my own behavior to be quite hilarious. The stupider it is, the bigger the laugh.

While I understand Fake Andy's sentiments about how wearying, or entertaining, bilious attacks on innocuous pastimes can be, I have been a perpetrator of 'NERD RAGE' on several occasions in the past. Somewhere deep within the bowels of Netflix, for instance, lurks a review of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, filled with venom and grammatical errors. One reading it would have probably been more inclined to make a judgment of the reviewer, rather than the movie. I like to think that, since that dark winter afternoon, I've learned about the internet and it's serious business.

I agree that this comes off poorly. Without proper atribution I thought this was real. I, like probably many others, don't always click the link to see the original and so without other clues this did seem like a poor attempt at humor by Andy collins. The OP either needs a major rewrite or the thread should probably be closed.
