I used the Erinyes as a base devil and made some modifications.

Couple questions:

Is CR 9 about right?

Did I make any glaring mistakes?

Description:

Botis Devils are shock troops used in the war against demons. They appear as 6’ tall humans with devilish facial features, oversized hands, and two large horns sprouting out of their heads.

When not engage in an active military campaign hey are often found in the forges of hell fashioning blades and armor or training in the Hammer’s Edge style of combat (CW).

They are often summoned to the Prime Material Plane, alone or in units, as search and destroy teams. These teams are often led by a commander with levels in ranger and the track feat.

Combat:

Spell-Like Abilities: At will— greater teleport (self plus 50 pounds of objects only). Caster level 12th.
Hammer’s Edge Style (Ex): When fighting with sword and hammer, if both weapons hit the victim must make a Fort Save (DC 19) or fall prone.


This monster is loosely based on FFE’s Botis Demon from Demons and Devils Volume 2 (page 70)


NEW MAGIC ITEM:

Horned Helmet of Protection: This helmet offers continual magical protection in the form of a deflection bonus of +2 to AC. However, the helmet is made for creatures with horns and has two horn holes on either side. Because of the holes, the deflection bonus DOES NOT add to the AC used to confirm critical hits against the wearer unless the wearer has horns.
