In regards to your introduction rather than being summoned since 2 members of your party are members of the Lightning God's faith instead have them approached to help escort her slain brother's body to the family crypt located in a nearby cave system.
The man was considered a popular hero and the PCs superior has asked the PCs to help grant the family's request.
They venture within and eventually reach the crypt where the man's sister is revealed to be a Necromancer who summons the crypts residents to keep the PCs busy so she can summon the Underworld God to restore him to life.
The Underworld God turns the dead champion into a Death Knight whose first action is to grab the Sorceress dragging her into the Underworld God's realm causing an earthquake collapsing the crypt.
The PCs discover once they escape from the cave that the tremors devastated the surrounding area and their mentor sends them to report to the main temple discovering the Sorceress turned Lich is attacking cities that were once home to the main temple to the forgotten God's discovering why they were forgotten so they can thwart the release of the Underworld God!
