New DM's screen? Anyone got it?

Someone bought a new DM screen last night at the store hosting the Detroit Gameday, and it came with a d20 Modern screen also. Both looked very good IMO, and I rather prefer the lower profile. It would seem to improve the DM's line of sight with respect to the gaming mat or mapping area.

Nope you ain't alone, i give xp per encounter too, and i agree it would be nice to have the table on the screen.

The Dragonlance Dungeon Master's Screen from Sovereign Press has XP charts on it! Of course, it also has moon tracking charts, aerial combat charts, etc etc as well, so perhaps not as useful to non-Dragonlance folks. I use both it and the DM Screen from Dragon magazine together when I run my Dragonlance game, and it works pretty well.

Landscape, eh?

I may have to get it for that reason alone. I have a tendancy to stand up when I DM just so I can see over the screen. I also seem to need more width in my "DM zone".

The new screens are ok. I mostly bought it because they are landscape. The only drawback I have had is I use my screens to prop maps on. Now I just have to keep them to the side. The charts they have chosen for the screen are great for me.

Paladin used it in our game Friday. Seemed to be quite nice, especially the landscape format. He could see over the screen and everything. :)

OTOH, that also means the players sitting next to you can see over the screen, which may or may not be a big deal.
