WotC has announced a new Dungeons & Drafons action game thst will be released in 2027, called Warlock:

"D&D Warlock is a third-person action-adventure game being developed by Invoke Studios, formerly Tuque Studios, in Montreal. In it, players will assume the role of Katri, a warlock who has made a pact with an otherworldly being in order to gain access to powerful magic."

"As such, Warlock will focus heavily on 'immersive, expressive magic,' according to Invoke Studios head Jeff Hattem during a recent media briefing. Players will use spells to battle monsters, solve puzzles and other challenges in the environment, and more."

"The team at Invoke is also taking strides to separate Warlock from other D&D-adjacent games like Baldur’s Gate III, which means players should not expect a similar style here. 'Our focus is making a video game first: an immersive, single-player, open world experience,” Invoke general manager Dominic Guay said during the briefing. “We’re not trying to simulate the tabletop RPG experience, so we won’t have things like dice rolling or anything like that.'"

"Warlock is not Invoke Studio’s first crack at D&D, as the team developed Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance in 2021 under its former name Tuque."

"Dungeons & Dragons Warlock is set to launch in 2027. The first gameplay reveal has also been scheduled for Summer 2026, though no concrete date was announced."

Well they picked a killer song!
True, thpugh i would have gone with Evanescence or more current with Sunkiller by Spiritbox, or Chokehold or Ascensionism by Sleep Token.

Still, loved it.
Definitely feeling a Raven Queen patron. Interesting to see what kind of setting/lore they'll end up going with
Hell yeah. The trailer really feels like they get the Warlock thematically and have a very solid vision.

I hope it lands and inspires the dnd team to give us a shadowfell themed warlock patron that isnt the conceptually weird hexblade.

I like the concept of this one a lot, it's a versatile class for this sort of role.

I hope they do the pacts as mix'n'match progression paths rather than exclusive subclasses, allowing for some flexible character building.
