But worse - it shows that Andy Collins is answering questions 'from memory', without bothering to look up the wording. 'cos there's no way that you could give that answer if you'd actually checked.

That's scarily pretty much what I though at once when I read the new FAQ! Although I had no idea who wrote it, I just had the feeling that it was being answered "from memory", possibily on a coffee pause of sort, or giving a shout to the closest near-by workmate "Hey Joe, how was it with racial HD?"...

I dropped Andy Collins a note querying the Pixie answer, and with my own thoughts on the Racial HD issue.

His reply:
I think you're right on both counts. (Wow, must have been a pretty bad day for me when I was writing that.)

I've submitted corrections for the next iteration of the FAQ.
