I can see Spellfire Adept working on Paladin.
waiting for a crit then smite. adding +4d10 on a smite few times per day might be worth a feat.

bear totem barbarian could have good usage of Bloodlust,
Yeah, I also thought of Totemic barb for the character shell, that would be a great choice. I went Zealot to meet in the middle a bit - more sword & board dmg, particularly with 1 fighter... but still boasting a heck of an unarmored AC (CON is 20). Like your totemic, it is with more strategic use of reckless attack. Alot of redundancy of self heals. Also, enjoy the flavor of a Zealot that anointed in the blood of enemies. The human choice was partially to get the skilled feat and craft my own Periapt of wound closure, instead of relying on the kindness of the DM's heart

I don't know if I'd call it diversity, but I feel like I should be glad we finally have actual warlock-styled and sorcerer-styled origin feats. Shadowmore Hexer and Spellfire Spark. It annoys me slightly when we have "default wizard," "default cleric," "default rogue," etc options for most of the classes, but not anything that really resonates with the others.

I think to some extent that leads to more diverse characters, or realization of different flavors of character. Also, I totally agree. They did that pretty well without eating those classes' lunch

Shadowmoor hexer has some possibilities with things like Eldritch Knights.

Mark of the Storm adds Conjure Minor Elemental to any class.

Spellfire Flare spell. Fairly mediocre but it can be aquired via magic initiate wizard. Poor man's scorching ray that combos with hex and Conjure Minor Elemental.

Basically Sorcerer, Bard and Druid blasters just got a lot better. And non fiendpact warlocks.

Putting aside the rest... Spellfire Spark is a feat, not a spell. It gives you the spell Sacred Flame (cleric, not wizard), castable as a bonus action and reduces incoming magic damage once per turn.

You're thinking Spellfire Flare.
