Take the time to get out of the swamp, then... ;)

But meanwhile, we can still work on it. Anyone has more or better suggestions?

Could we get an updated list of the locations...I think the styles are close to being finalized...but relisting them one more time could be helpful..

I know this has been up before, but what about replacing Raven with Sparrow. Raven really hasn't any connection with the far east while Sparrow and Crane are kung fu styles IIRC, also I like that Mah Jongg (sparrows) are represented. :) After all, that was what inspired Gygax to the first edition level titles of the Monk. :D

Here are a few potential problems:

- "Blade" is a good defense not only against Dagger and Sword, but also against Kama and Scythe. This makes Kama and Scythe slightly disadvantaged because there are two good defenses against them.

- same for Snake (can be defended against with Reptile and Venom)

- same for Willow and Oak (defense: Tree and Wood)

- I think Paradise in the Garden couple is out of place. Not everyone associates it with a garden.

For Gate/Pillars, I suggest Passage.

Also, I would drop both Glade/???(???) and Temple/Palace(???) in favor of Temple/Cathedral(church) and House/Palace(Home). If you feel that Cathedral or Church sound too Western, we can use Shrine instead of one of the two, and I'm sure we can come up with something for the other.

I still have no idea for Ruins.

Sparrows! Sparrows! :D

Ruins are difficult. How about

Ruins, Debris (wrack)?

It's the best I can come up with.

BTW, its "devAstation"

As to Paradise.... *singing* It's da Garden of Eden, Baby */singing* :D

But good points about the defenses... hmmm...

As to Pillars, I still don't get it. What are they? Are they pillars as in a basilisk, or what?
