Ao and I are staying at the Best Western in Haverhill. It's about 20 miles away from Silvermoon's place. We tend to search through AAA. If you guys have it go to their site and check it out, we have good luck through them.

OK, I'm down to the wire and Menw the spiritualist is not done. So, two questions.

1 - Does anyone actually -want- to play a spellcasting character, or is he the poor man's choice? Personally, I think being the sole spellcaster in a party of fighter-types would be cool, but maybe I'm crazy.

2 - Does anyone who is interested have the time and ability to whip up a 7th level spiritualist (or arcanist - at this point I no longer care), given certain guidelines on rituals (or the arcanist alternative - schools?)?

If #1 is "no" all around, I'll whip up another fighting type. If #1 is yes but #2 is no, Menw will be an overhauled and upgraded D&D sorcerer.

All i care is that i have Vorpal Hurricane, Great Cleave, and Combat Reflexes.

I can bring my sheet from the Gencon oneshot if you want.

Actually, more like 30 miles, and around 45 minutes drive no matter which way you go (Kris and I are both from Haverhill and our family still live there). Manchester or Exeter are both actually much closer.

Does anyone have any suggestions for lodgings? We found a Best Western in Seabrook for $69/night. I think the price is decent, but the distance not so much.

It is a beautiful old fashioned Bed and Breakfast five miles from our house. The three individual rooms are $ 98 while the suite is $ 135 for two, $ 165 for three and $ 195 for four. Orchid Blossom was interested except for the fact that all rooms except the suite share a bathroom (the suite has its own), HOWEVER, I just called and they have no other guests booked for this weekend, so you would essentially have the bathroom to yourself.

I may be doing that during Slot One myself, as I had taken the final slot for Ao's game but now Jani's best friend may be attending and want to play in that. So unless there is a no-show, I'll probably be sitting that game out.
