First post, post-gameday! (actually, it's still the same day, just...more tired).

Much fun. Thank my players, my fellow players, and my GM. And the people that were there.

I think Yttrai has alot of quotes from my game.

Tired now.

OK, characters are done, encounters are done, d20 Modern is in the to-go pile, pepsi is chilling, have decided Yttrai's character would make more sense as an NPC-classed Aristocrat.
THANKS.

Thanks a ton.

I love Aristocrats.

BTW if you had actually given me this character, i'd decided i would roleplay it like the movie of the same name from a few years ago. That would have been SO COOL ;)

There were only minor explosions, no casualties and I'm fairly certain we were chased by racoonasaur.
Yeah, sorry dude. That was actually my cat. I'll replace the bumper and tire he ate.

I do!

But i am am TIRED.

But i absolutely must thank both my DM's (Nellisir and Piratecat) no only for running, but for putting up with poorly behaved brats like me. You are both saints and we appreciate all you do, running a game like that, with systems you aren't familiar with.

Someday i'll actually be in an Iron Heroes game and earn one of those frakking tokens ;)

Quotes tomorrow. Sleep tonight.

Tired Overkitty. We're back to the hotel and such.

Had a great time. Thanks to my players. So what if you blew up a small chunk of the ship, depressurized two decks, and killed over fifteen civilians.

And thanks to our hosts for providing us with a place to game.

And make sure you try Novatech brand Nicolene Cigarettes. So close to the real thing, you'll want to smoke a full pack.

My thinky-thing is all sleepy.

Thanks to Silver Moon and the Moon family for being such lovely hosts!

Quick list:

I played in a pair of great games with good DMs and fun players.

I saw friends from previous gamedays, and made some new ones.

I met a very nice cat.

I ate turkey.

I get an extra hour of sleep tonight.

Life is good. :)

Safe travel home to anyone who isn't home yet!

Do Cyberzombies Dream of Electric Brains went exceedingly well.

Maverick Weirdo - Valskeeg Rabinowski
Nerfwright - Ned Tavern
Nellisir - Amiira Sullivan
NinjaDinoPirate - Jaime De Hoyos
Janiru - Molly Shears
Silver Moon - George Knightley

[sblock]Corporal Valskegg Rabinowski (Team Leader) – The Fearless Leader, though many on the team question the fearless part since he usually commands from the back. He has not disclosed his psionic abilities to his team just yet, though he has used them within view of Tavern and Shears. At the moment, they just think he carries a hidden flamethrower. It is unsure whether he has repeatedly set Tavern on fire by accident or on purpose.

Private Jaimie De Hoyos (Equipment Officer) – The Mexican, as the team refers to him. Jaimie is most likely to mock Rabinowski, simply because he feels the team does not appreciate him. Jaimie has led a rather sheltered life up to this point and thus is lacking in some basic human skills. He is the product of natural human enhancement and by natural, I mean genetic engineering and chemical stimulation.

Private Molly Shears (Neutralization Officer) – The Problem Solver, providing the problem can be solved with pointy claws, a shotgun or a swift kick to the knee. Molly is a former street samurai who found life on the streets was becoming a bit too dangerous. She has taken great advantage of Novatech’s generosity in receiving significant cybernetic upgrades to her body. She is often ordered not to use ‘people skills’ or to start theorizing over the origins of the horrible things they face. After all, we all know some scientist is to blame.

Private Ned Tavern (Neutralization Officer) – The Hulk, since he is over 6’5” tall and built like a football player. Ned looks like a walking bruise that could squish an elephant’s head between his pointer finger and thumb. He is alive today only with the help of thousands of little nanites living in his body. He has escaped numerous critical injuries relatively unscathed, thanks to them. The only permanent damage he has received has been to his brain. His doctorate from Harvard doesn’t quite reflect his abilities today, sadly.

Private Amiira Sullivan (Science Officer) – The Chimney, given her proclivity for smokes. Amiira is almost everything Molly despises about scientists, which makes how well they get along exceedingly strange. She has no problem tying someone up and leaving them in a zombie-infested area, just because they annoyed her somehow. Nor does she have a problem ‘accidently’ knocking a guy down a shaft simply because he pointed out a no smoking sign to her. Amiira’s redeeming quality seems to be that she shows some consideration for the greater good, or at least, the good of the team. Whatever they encounter, she does her best to determine just what it is and the most efficient way of killing it. What she doesn’t know off the top of her head she keeps stored in Datachips, which she can plug into her cybernetic enhancements to expand her knowledge.

Private George Knightley (Field Medic) – The Saint, since he continues to heal the sick even after all the things people have done to him. A lesser man would have holed himself up somewhere and never crawled out again. But maybe he is just running away in a different manner. He doesn’t talk about the burn scars at all, or the bullet shrapnel scars. Perhaps he just never hears the questions. He learned the hard way that people don’t suffer a freak to live so he keeps his ability close to his chest. It is amazing what you can do with some medical supplies and a little bit of misdirection. They rarely notice the healing came from within himself, not from the tools.[/sblock]

They all did a great job with nailing down the personalities of their characters, though Rabinowski was a much more take charge kind of guy.

They requisitioned explosives and smokes. De Hoyos actually managed to make his Bureaucracy roll.

For some reason, they gave Tavern the experimental equipment Vibro-ax. This later led to De Hoyos getting his arm sliced off in the second round of combat. De Hoyos Stimmed himself to increase his strength and constitution and passed pain/consiousness rolls. He as dragged back to the doc, who was able to reattach the arm with the power of his mind. That is, after he minorly botched the first roll and was almost overcome by the pain feedback.

They had contacted Captain Brenner when they were still on their transport and decided to go to the Utility Deck airlock first. They also told the Captain to hold the line at the elevator on the Main Deck so no more ambulatory corpses got in or out.

Skippy was threatened before they even left their transport. There was talk of killing Skippy the pilot, but Skippy hid behind his blast shield in his little shuttle cockpit.

Bullets were liberally used and zombies became squiggling torsos. Everything else was liquefied in the hail of bullets.

A total of seven ship's crew were rescued. They found some wounded and quarantined them. There was talk of eliminating the potentially infected, but it wasn't followed through with. Sullivan 'accidentally' caught both a zombie and a bitten crew member in a hail of bullets, taking them both out.

Sullivan: "He was an ambulatory precorpse."

They got down to the end of the hall where the Escape Pod was, having liquefied all zombie resistance on the way. They actually ran into a zombie they had previously taken care of, that now had an extra arm where its head had been. It freaked them out that the zombies seemed to have some sort of recombining ability. This was the first and only time the EMF gun was used; which took the zombies out in one shot.

The group had broken off into three teams. Sullivan and Knightley hung back to deal with the deformed zombie. Shears and De Hoyos dealt with liquefying the zombies in the elevator before moving on to assist Tavern and Rabinowski in finishing clearing the way to the escape pod room and the rest of the trapped survivors.

They arrived at the room the escape pod was in to find a huge mass of zombies; somewhere around twenty altogether. There were zombies in miners clothing, basic ship crew clothing, security clothing and armor, and one zombie in a whitish lab coat. These zombies were crammed in amongst lots of crates and the one-man escape pod this all started from.

Sullivan told the fifteen crew members trapped across the hall that they had sixty seconds to evacuated 'in an orderly and chaotic manner.' Shears jumped the gun a little by yelling, "Grenade time!" and tossing one into the middle of the zombies. Why Rabinowski had given her a grenade, we shall never no.

Up until this point, no questions had been asked about just what the ship was transporting. They had run into zombies dressed as miners, but hadn't thought anything of it. The grenade set off a chain of explosions with the crates full of highly explosive ore within the crates. The resulting explosions took out a third of the deck they were on and depressurized the quartered off section of the deck below (incidentally killing the ship's captain ad any trapped crew members below.

Knightley and Sullivan were far enough away that they were not caught in the explosion and managed to latch onto a hunk of metal with their 0-G sticks, thus not being blown out into space. The rest of the team weren't quite so lucky. Shears, Rabinowski, De Hoyos, and Tavern were caught at ground zero of the explosions. Their armor (and air supplies) were destroyed and what was left of their bodies were blown out into space. Tavern was the only one who had the means of surviving, since his nanites had previously been programmed to vacuum seal him. He was severly bloodied and exposed to extreme cold temperatures, but managed to use his 0-G stick to latch onto a hunk of metal.

Skippy the pilot dropped off the crew members they had previously rescued before going back and picking up Sullivan, Tavern, and Knightley. Sullivan plotted how to obtain plausible deniability of responsibility for the explosion and deaths. After all, she didn't want the team (well her) to take the blame for the explosion. She contemplated killing the rest of the ship's crew and Knightley, since she wasn't sure she could trust him to keep his mouth shut.

It was a great game Ao, I'm sorry that preparing lunch for the group caused me to miss a lot of the final hour of it. Great job on the characters!

Now, must note down 6 words for each character so Piratecat can roleplay.
Nope, didn't work! Whatever it is I roleplayed, it wasn't on my sheet. But I had tremendous fun nevertheless.

Thanks to Silvermoon & Kriskrafts, Nellisir, and all my players!

What everyone else said. :D

Thanks to Piratecat and Silver Moon for running (particularly Silver Moon, since he wasn't entirely prepared for the extra players). Thanks to scholar for offering to run. ;) Thanks to Silver Moon and Kriskrafts and their lovely daughter for hosting. Thanks to everyone else for being so dang cool and fun! etc.
