In all seriousness, I'd probably skip 'That's What Bilbo Baggins Hates', but the other song at the part, 'Far Over the Misty Mountains', would be great for setting a dark mood.

Bunnies aren't just cute like everyone supposes. they've got them hoppy legs and twitchin' little noses. And what's with all the carrots? Why do they need such good eyesight anyway? Bunnies, bunnies, it must me BUNNIES!

Sorry, couldn't resist. Carry on.

How about a compromise? Instead of the songs from the book, we'll have songs from Led Zeppelin. That's what I'm talking about.

In all seriousness, though, if PJ handles the songs in the same way that he handled them in the LotR movies, it will be fine by me. Having Gandalf ride up humming "The Road Goes Ever On" was a great touch, as well as hearing "Namarie" on the soundtrack when the Fellowship left Lorien. Good stuff. I'm sure he'll handle it just as well this time around.

I concur with this sentiment. PJ knows how to make it all work with his vision and with his LotR legacy. I am not overly concerned.
