New Line offically sucks

I don't think it's New Line, unless of course you have sources in Peter Jackson's camp that he has already finished editing the film and sent it to be mass-produced on DVD.

How about Half Life 2? the orginal date for that was Sept. 30, 2003.

Like that date was ever plausible. I have not seen a high profile game keep the initial release date given in recent memory. Console games have a slightly better record, which is weird considering they cant rely on patches to rectify a premature release.

I know they have finished editing the EE, people have been to screenings. Not sure if they are done with the extras yet.

I know the DVD is not coming out until December, I just wish New Line would tell us the accual date it will be in stores already. No reason not to hold back the date anymore. I need to know what day to tell work I have my "Dr. appointment" ;)

December 12th. Seriously.

Do you mean a full-length screening? Not those preview clips they show at local conventions? Where and when?

Yes full length. The movie fourm I visit, comingsoon.net has another member on there by the screen name of Jedi the White. He is an indrusty insider, he can't say who he is due to his own protection. He has always posted info on LotR films early, before it's been made public, and he has always been right with his info. Last month he was in NZ and here was shown Return of the King EE, posted a little review as well.

"Screening" does not mean "finished." It just means they have one edit that they want to test and see how well it flows. They may have to remove or add to the film before they get it just right, so the fact that it's been screened doesn't mean much.
