New Manuevers and Stances

Trying to come up with more manuevers and make sure they're not too strong, personally for a character based upon guildwar's dervish (but since there seems to not be another thread for such figured I'd open this one)

(On a side note: what should replace 'earth' damage in d20? specifically 'scouring sands' visual type effect: acid damage? dissication(sp?) damage? magical/nonmagical piercing or piercing-slashing damage?)

Dust Cloak
Desert Wind (Strike) [Earth]
Level: Swordsage 3 (or 4?)
Prerequisite: Two Desert Wind Manuevers
Initiation Action: 1 standard action (or 1 full round action?)
Range: 10 ft.
Area: 10 ft.-radius burst centered on you
Saving Throw: Fort half/negs

6d6 'earth' damage, blind for one round. Fort Save (DC 13 + your Wis moifier) for half damage and to negate blindness


and/or

Staggering Force
Desert Wind
Level: Swordsage 3 (or 4?)
Prerequisite: Two Desert Wind Manuevers
Initiation Action: 1 standard action (or 1 full round action?)
Range: 10 ft.
Area: 10 ft.-radius burst centered on you
Saving Throw: Fort Half
6d6 'earth' damage, and cause fatigue for two rounds. Fort Save (DC 13 + your Wis moifier) for half damage and reduce fatigue to one round.


Anyone have an idea for how to replicate Aura of Thorns?
"All nearby foes are Crippled for 4...9 seconds. For 30 seconds, this Enchantment does nothing. When this Enchantment ends, all nearby foes begin Bleeding for 5...13 seconds."
