New McFarlane Dragons!

They're doing new "clans" this time around - Scavenger, Hunter, Ice, Warrior, and Fossil(ie. Dracolich).

These guys diverge from classic dragons quite a bit now, but some of the new designs will make absolutely amazing D&D Monsters.

The Ice Clan one looks like it belongs in a major motion picture, and I can't quite place why.

Loved the Ice Clan one. The Hunter also had great coloring, and an interesting evolution to its wings.

The Hunter kind of reminds me of a creature that I read about in The Madness Season, I think by C.S. Friedman. The description is more like a displacer beast than a dragon, but the way the Hunter's wings are evolved into killing tools is exactly how the other creature's were described in the book.

I wonder if anyone would be interested in trying to write up these beasts for a game, and if so, how they would make each unique. Or at least make them different than the dragons already in print.

Those look amazing-I can't believe how these keep getting better and better with each series (and the first series was awesome!)

The Hunter looks like an Alt Displacer Beast to me (spikes instead of tentacles)

The Warrior could be converted into a Draconic Race

The Scavengers could be used as harpies

and the Ice Dragon looked like something out of Star Wars

The fossil dragon would make an excellent Dracolich.
