[sblock] I gave away most of the cards a couple of years ago, and sold the games last summer. Actually, I made a hundred bucks or so off of it.

RisnDevil here. Been playing since around 1997, started with 1ed, tried 2ed (didn't like, stuck with 1ed), Vampire:The Masquerade (online at White Wolf as well as offline), Werewolf, D20 Modern, Cthulhu, 3.0 and 3.5

I have on and off tried to DM/GM, but I don't like creating charts and tables and whatnot. I craft great storylines and love to make my own things, be it feats, spells, classes, whatever.

As a player, I REALLY like getting into character, though I tend to be a rules lawyer....(but I refuse to be a munchkin/powergamer).

I am not actively playing now (I am deployed in Iraq at the moment, and a group is a LITTLE hard to find... ), though I AM working on a Homebrew/trying to help my Brother with HIS homebrew via email....(Even recommended EnWorld to him... )

Well, that is me and my gaming in a nutshell.....

Hmmm, what I find unique is your thign about charts and tables. I have never personally created a table or chart for any of my games, it has never seemed nessecary. What exactly do you crete your table and charts for?

By tables I mean for things like random encounters, and stuff like that. For clarification, the other item I am just really bad at making, not that I don't neccessarily like, is maps.....SO....if anyone knows and good, FREE, online resources where I can download unpopulated maps, that would be really great.....

And about the tables and charts, I also mean I really hate having a note on a map for an NPC then having to find just which Char sheet/info I need for that NPC, but I am looking to resolve that by finding/making a program that will use links to just bring up what I need....

Check out Nightcloaks guide to a DM's notebook, or the "links" thread thats floating around somewheres, it should have some links to free maps, but NC's for sure has some....

Oh, and btw Welcome to the DMF RisnDevil!!

I feel u on the random incounters tables, very useful they are, random d% tables are useful for anything!!
