New Minions of Evil (MY PLAYERS OUT!)

So, my PCs not only made it "home" in time for the hatching of the cute l'il half-fiend shadow blue dragon eggs, the Paladin took Leadership as his 12th level feat and wants to keep the cute l'il guy! (Note: Paladin has not yet thought to detect evil on the presumed half-fiend.)

So... I think it'd be a little unfair to make them [Evil], and thus I'm going to invent the Quarter Fiend Template (since mom was a half-fiend and dad was a normal dragon):

As Half-Fiend, except as noted below:
- No claw or bite attack
- No 'Smite Good' special attack
- No spell-like abilities (since those are generally evil in tone)
- Alignment not necessarily [Evil]

Effect on the little wyrmlings: minimal.

Anyone got any better ideas?

Moral ambiguity is a big part of my game, so a part-demon (with evil urges and instincts) being the pet of a paladin makes my wicked heart sing. It's already shown killer instincts... it will be an interesting situation, I hope.
